About Dragonfly Treasures Resin Art
Growing up in Northern B.C. I spent many hours outdoors with my Family enjoying the simple pleasures of the Woodlands that surrounded me or watching the Waves gently wash upon the Shores as we camped. I was amazed as a child at the simplest discoveries, like a piece of wood nibbled by the beavers, the variety of colours that the wild flowers had to the little minnows that would swim under the docks.One Winter I was passing the time creating Tile Coasters. That is when I discovered I could use Epoxy Resin to capture the memories of my childhood. This revelation has since sent me on a Journey that I wish to share with all of you.
Now I spend my summers collecting seashells and preserving plants, moss, and all the pretty flowers I find in the Forest hoping to give you the same feeling I had of wonder and delight that I had as a child. I call it "Colour Therapy" as often my Art can make you forget, for a short time perhaps, the stresses of everyday life, the months we have no colour and have you feeling like your toes are in the sand, or you are walking through the Woods seeing all that Mother Nature has to give us.
